Privacy policy
Short version: this site has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party content of any kind. The only personal data collected is what you send when you contact me about a repair.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for personal data processed through this website is:
- Controller
- Eislektronic — Felipe Noleto
- Address
- [STREET ADDRESS], L-[POSTCODE] Clervaux, Luxembourg
- felipeanc@gmail.com
Eislektronic is a one-person business and is not required to appoint a data protection officer. Any question about your data comes directly to me.
What data is collected
When you use the contact form
The contact form collects your name, email address, the town or village you are in, the device concerned, the type of problem, and the description you write. The form opens your own email application — nothing is stored on this website, and the message reaches me as an ordinary email.
When you email or telephone directly
I receive whatever you choose to send: your name, contact details, and what you tell me about your problem.
When a repair goes ahead
To carry out and invoice work, I record your name, address, contact details, the device concerned and the work performed. During a repair I may need access to the device itself. I do not read, copy or retain your personal files, and I access only what is necessary to diagnose and fix the fault reported.
Automatically, when you visit this site
The hosting server keeps standard technical logs — IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser type. These are generated by the web server for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build any profile of you.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — necessary for steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To carry out and invoice repair work — necessary for performance of the contract between us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep accounting records — necessary for compliance with legal obligations under Luxembourg commercial and tax law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Server logs and site security — legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no social media tracker and no profiling of visitors.
Typefaces are served directly from this website's own server. No fonts, scripts or other resources are loaded from third-party providers, so visiting this site sends no request — and no IP address — to any company other than the host named below.
Who else sees your data
Your data is not sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes — ever, by anyone.
It is processed by a small number of providers acting on my behalf:
- Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland) — website hosting and server logs. Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.
- Google Ireland Limited — email service, as my current business address is a Gmail address. This applies only to messages you send me; it involves no tracking of your visit to this website.
Data may also be disclosed where I am legally required to do so, for example to tax authorities.
How long data is kept
- Enquiries that do not lead to work — up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Records of completed repairs, invoices and accounts — 10 years, as required by Luxembourg commercial law.
- Server logs — retained by the host for a short period, typically a few weeks.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what data I hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, where no legal obligation requires me to keep it;
- ask me to restrict how your data is used;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these, email felipeanc@gmail.com. I will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled improperly, please contact me first — most things are a misunderstanding and quickly fixed. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority:
- Authority
- Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD)
- Address
- 15, Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, Luxembourg
- Telephone
- +352 26 10 60 1
- Website
